Don Polye officiates new THE Party office in Morobe Province

PNG Opposition Leader Don Polye’s Triumph Heritage Empowerment party has an office at One-Mile in Lae, Morobe province.

Mr Polye officially opened the office yesterday (Sunday) in the presence of THE party executives and supporters. He said the party was confident of winning more seats in the province.

Polye thanked the owner of Skyline lodge Mark Pema for kindly making the office available for its operation.  He added that without an office, THE party would find it difficult to manage its daily work to claim victory over many seats in the province to form the next government.

They have vowed to support THE party and its candidates contesting various seats in the province, except Deputy Opposition Leader Sam Basil’s electorate.  Businessman and supporter Mark Pema said they would work with the party officials in striving to win as many seats as possible in the province.

Only Lae MP Loujaya Kouza is a member of THE party. In front of Mr Polye, they pledged to rally behind Kouza to retain her seat. Polye donated K10, 000 cash to the officials for office consumables.
