WOODS Kawage is one of the four new kids on Kumul Team
list to make their debuts in Lae this weekend. Kawage hails from Chimbu but
residing in Mount Hagen, Western Highlands, has been playing with the Enga
Mioks for two years.
He was previously playing for the Mt Hagen Eagles for two years and has represented the PNG Kumuls this year.
“I really didn’t think I would be selected; I didn’t give my best in the under 23 but they watched me played so Marum called to give me a chance. I am very excited, it’s a dream come true for me,” an excited Kawage told PNG media recently. - Via Garamut News.
