Opposition Leader Don Polye accorded as Chief in East New Britain

Opposition Leader Don Polye was today (13th May) accorded as Luluai (Chief) of Ratavul ward in Kokopo district, East New Britain.

Mr Polye and his local THE party officials arrived at the ward to a rousing welcome.

The initiation of his chieftainship, as is the tradition, complemented well with libun dancers who sang praises to the newly-accorded chief.

He was in the Autonomous Region of Bougainville for a three-day campaign trail.

Polye will endorse his candidates contesting under THE party and launch their election campaign.

They are:
1. Sir Sinai Brown for East New Britain Regional Seat;
2. Bruno Tailum for Kokopo Open;
3. Pius Mano for Pomio Open.
